Budget: £10 – £100 GBP

**Please READ Through AND UNDERSTAND BEFORE APPLYING!

Are you a Software Developer/ Project Manager/IT Consultant with a small digital project about to kick off or that requires an upgrade…maybe some additional modules about to be developed?
If so, we would like to pay you a small fee to involve our students in your projects.

Background:
We are a training academy delivering Business Analyst and Software Testing Training.
When students complete their course with us they would have gained valuable theoretical and methodology knowledge but no real-world live experience.
....and this is where you come in.

The Challenge:
The ideal candidate/organisation for this role will already have a good number of small web-based projects going.
We would like you to select the perfect project which would suit the following 4 week flow:

Stage 1: (week 1) Project Briefing (roughly 30 mins intro)– Meeting with the team to discuss what your projects is about. We the tutors will act as Project Managers/mentors. You will be the Stakeholder/Product Owner
Stage 2: Requirements gathering workshop (roughly 1 hour workshop) This is where students will get to ask you in-depth questions about the project requirements
Stage 3: (week 2) Deliverables – Students will articulate the artefacts you need them to create and will get them validated with you. So there may be some email exchange here which will go through to you via us the Mentors.
Subsequently, they will start to create artefacts (i.e. requirements, test cases, user stories, flow diagrams, reports that have been assigned to them etc.) whatever your project needs that can be delivered in this short time frame
Stage 4: (week 2- 3) Deliverables part 2 – Students with support from their mentors will complete the tasks. test cases, user stories, flow diagrams, reports that have been assigned to them etc.
Stage 5: (week 4) Final work deliverables Reports and Sign off (roughly 1 hour show and tell) – You will meet a final time with us and the students as they present final reports and have project signed off

So all in all its 3 core online meetings and responding to emails with regards to project clarification

All meetings communications between you and the students will be online via conference zoom, (we supply the professional version of this) etc and of course, email.
Clear verbal communication is essential. We will need to speak to you to know what kind of project you have so be prepared to join us on a zoom chat before we award this to anyone.
To get ahead of the crowd you might want to share your project idea in chat if you have one ready to go
Please note that we are looking for a long-term relationship. Hopefully this wontbe a one-off engagement So any ideas to make this successful as possible are welcomed.
Please have a look at this video it will guide you to understand what we are expecting
