Millwork Project Planning Support

Job ID: 40540338

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I oversee several large-scale commercial casework and millwork installations across the United States and I need an extra set of hands dedicated solely to project planning. Your focus will be on two mission-critical areas: keeping our schedules realistic and up-to-date, and making sure people, materials, and subcontractors are allocated where and when they’re needed.

Scheduling & timelines
I run every job through a Kanban board workflow. You’ll build out the columns, populate cards for each fabrication and installation phase, and keep lead times, dependencies, and hand-offs clearly visible. Expect to refine the board daily as change orders roll in, then package a concise snapshot for the weekly team call.

Resource allocation
Working from my vendor lists and crew rosters, you’ll map labor hours, shop capacity, and delivery windows against the board. When conflicts surface—an overbooked installer, a late laminate shipment—you’ll flag it early and suggest realistic adjustments.

Deliverables
• A live Kanban board (Trello, Jira, or Monday.com) for each active project
• Weekly PDF export summarizing progress, blockers, and upcoming capacity crunches
• A rolling six-week look-ahead that pairs crew assignments with material arrivals

If you thrive in visual workflows and can juggle multiple moving parts without dropping a panel, let’s keep these builds on track.
