Manufacturing Equipment Efficiency Manager
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
The project centres on our manufacturing equipment for automobile production, and my main objective is to lift overall efficiency across the plant. I need a seasoned mechanical project manager to take full ownership of equipment-related initiatives that touch every corner of the line—from assembly-stage tweaks through to quality checkpoints, supply-chain touchpoints and the adjoining warehouse flow.
You’ll begin by mapping the current state of each workstation and its upstream/downstream dependencies, then propose data-backed improvements that shorten cycle times without compromising quality. Expect to work closely with engineering and operations to re-balance line speeds, introduce predictive maintenance schedules, tighten quality-control loops and streamline spare-parts logistics. Whenever upgrades or retrofits are required, you’ll schedule shutdowns, coordinate vendors, manage documentation and oversee safe commissioning.
Because efficiency is the metric that matters here, I’ll look for measurable gains in OEE, first-pass yield and inventory turns. Provide weekly progress dashboards and a final hand-over pack that includes updated CAD layouts, a revised preventive-maintenance plan and clearly documented SOPs for the re-worked stations.
Key tools and methods that usually prove effective in this context—SolidWorks or AutoCAD for layout changes, MS Project (or equivalent) for scheduling, plus Lean / Six Sigma techniques—are all welcome if they help you deliver.
