Launch SUD Support 501(c)(3)

Job ID: 39852768

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I am ready to formalise a new charitable organisation whose sole mission is to give people battling Substance Use Disorder the resources they need to stay alive, stabilise, and eventually overcome addiction. To do that, I need an experienced nonprofit‐compliance professional who can take me from idea to fully approved 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.

Because our focus is charitable, every filing must be airtight and drafted with long-term sustainability in mind. The core programme we will run is providing life-saving information, referral pathways, and community-based resources that prevent overdose deaths and support recovery. Although we are not opening a clinic or running therapy sessions at launch, our paperwork must clearly articulate how these support services qualify under the Charitable purpose clause.

What I need from you
• Draft state articles of incorporation that include compliant charitable language
• Create bylaws tailored to a resource-driven addiction support nonprofit
• Obtain an EIN and guide me through any state charitable registration or publication steps
• Prepare and submit the full IRS Form 1023 package (not the EZ) with every required schedule, narrative, attachment and financial projection
• Respond to any IRS or state follow-up questions until the determination letter is issued

Acceptance criteria
1. IRS determination letter granting 501(c)(3) status
2. State registration (where applicable) confirmed
3. Complete digital archive of all filings, bylaws and incorporation documents delivered to me

If you have a track record of securing approvals for health-related charities, understand the nuances of substance-use programming, and can translate that into clear, persuasive narratives for regulators, I would love to work together.
