Jira and confluence consultant
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced part-time expert in Jira and Confluence to assist with software project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, and Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for teaching and guiding our team in developing project plans, roadmaps, development plans, and effective bug tracking strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Mentorship:
Provide hands-on training sessions on Jira and Confluence.
Guide the team in best practices for project management and Agile methodologies.
Project Planning:
Assist in creating and refining project plans and schedules.
Help in the development of project roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Development Strategy:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define development plans and timelines.
Teach the team how to prioritize tasks and manage workloads effectively.
Bug Tracking & Reporting:
Implement best practices for bug tracking and issue management using Jira.
Develop custom dashboards and reports for tracking project progress.
Documentation:
Ensure proper documentation practices are followed in Confluence.
Assist in creating templates and guidelines for project documentation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Jira and Confluence in a software project management context.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in training and mentoring team members.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in software development or related fields.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Project Management Professional) are a plus.
