Hire 4 SAP ABAP Developers
Budget: $8 – $22 USD
I’m expanding my SAP team for a rollout that will run for at least the next two years, and I need four seasoned ABAP developers who can start right away. A minimum of five years of hands-on project experience is non-negotiable; I’m counting on you to tackle complex change requests from day one.
Primary focus
The bulk of the workload revolves around Enhancements and Extensions—user-exits, BADIs, implicit/explicit enhancements, custom function modules, and everything else that keeps standard SAP flexible enough for our business processes.
Key skill areas
Please be fully comfortable working in all of the following spaces:
• Reports and Forms (ALV, SmartForms, Adobe)
• Enhancements and Extensions (our main priority)
• Data Dictionary and Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, BAPI)
Project cadence
The contract runs for a guaranteed 24-month stretch with regular monthly sprints. I release work packages every two weeks, expect daily status updates in Jira, and code reviews via Git. On-site presence is not required, but you must be available during CET business hours for stand-ups and ad-hoc debugging sessions over Teams.
What success looks like
– Clean, performance-optimised ABAP adhering to SAP best practices and our internal naming conventions
– Zero critical findings in peer review or SAP Code Inspector before transport to QA
– Timely delivery of each sprint’s user stories and fixes without spilling into the next iteration
