1. Im trying to electronically map golf greens on my local course in Ireland, so I can produce slopes to accuracy of ½ percentage unit.

requirements
technical report for most economical golf green scanning device and software that I may employ myself.

specifications
accuracy: half percent = approx. 0.3 degrees.
speed of operation: survey average green size, 400 sq. yards, in ten minutes.

hardware: scanning device, handheld if possible rather than tripod mounted, ideally no light or other easily visible medium used, maybe lidar only? query drone

software: companies producing maps include cleregolf (recent company I believe),
golfshot (another new company?), and a well-established firm strackaline.
I have access to Autodesk info drainage if that is useful


Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Background in agricultural technology or golf course management
- Experience with various scanning devices (handheld, drones, fixed cameras)
