Experienced Release Manager Needed(DevOps)

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Release Manager to oversee the entire software release lifecycle, from development to production. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing releases, ensuring that all applications and infrastructure changes are deployed reliably, securely, and within schedule. This role requires close collaboration with developers, QA, operations, and business stakeholders, including leading CAB meetings to assess risk and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Release Governance & Planning: Define, plan, and manage the release calendar, including scheduling releases, defining scope, and maintaining a high-level release roadmap.
CAB Facilitation: Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review, approve, and schedule release changes to minimize risk and disruptions.
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate code deployment from testing to production.
Release Automation: Utilize release automation tools to improve speed and consistency, reducing manual errors.
Environment Management: Manage environment configurations (Dev, QA, Staging, Production) to ensure consistency and availability.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues that hinder release progress, and execute rollback plans when necessary.
Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for release status, providing updates to stakeholders and management regarding project plans and code deployment, particularly for Salesforce, Cloud (AWS/GCP), or similar environments.
Collaboration: Work with Agile teams, development, and IT operations to ensure smooth deployment processes.

Required Technical Skills & Tools
CI/CD Tools: Strong experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Release Management Tools: Experience with Copado (especially for Salesforce), Jira (for tracking), ServiceNow (for change management), or IBM UrbanCode Release.
Configuration Management/Infrastructure: Familiarity with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Kubernetes.
Version Control: Proficiency in Git or SVN.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
