Excel Schedule to Primavera P6
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a Primavera P6 version of my construction schedule that currently lives in Excel. The workbook already contains all activities, start and finish dates, durations, and clearly flagged milestones; what it lacks is P6’s logic, calendars, and custom fields.
Scope
• Replicate every activity, WBS level, relationship, and milestone exactly as shown in the spreadsheet.
• Create the custom fields I will specify (cost code, crew, and progress category) and populate them during import so they behave like native P6 columns.
• Maintain the original dates and durations—no rounding or drift.
Turnaround
The file must be ready for review within one hour of contract start, so you’ll likely rely on P6 import templates or an XLS-to-P6 macro you already trust.
Acceptance criteria
• Opens in Primavera P6 without errors or orphaned data.
• All logic ties and milestones match the Excel source.
• Custom fields appear and are correctly populated.
Send back the .XER (or .XML) plus any intermediate import files you used. Once everything lines up, I’ll mark the job complete immediately.
