Event Manager
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
Massive Outpouring of Love (MOOL) are a registered charity based in Dumfries aiming to help refugees and other displaced people. We are looking for an experienced event organiser to help plan and manage a Street Food Festival to be run in Dock Park, Dumfries on 5th June 2022.
The festival is intended to emphasise how much is gained when people from different cultures enable our society to be more diverse and to take in new influences.
Some preparation work has been done, including booking the venue and some marquees, first aid and some additional entertainments but the detailed arrangements will need to be made as we approach the date.
The work is expected to take approximately 60 hours over the life of the project though the time commitment will vary leading up to the event itself and is worth £1800 overall.
