I am looking for a licensed engineer or experienced permit designer to prepare a complete, permit-ready drawing package for a standby generator installation at a commercial property in Fremont, California.
The project involves relocating a 100 kW natural gas standby generator from its current location to the rear right corner of the parking lot, and preparing all documents required for City of Fremont permit approval. The generator is a Briggs & Stratton 100 kW, 277/480V, 3-phase unit.
Scope of Work
* Update site plan showing the new generator location.
* Prepare complete electrical single-line diagram.
* Design conduit routing from the generator to the existing electrical service.
* Generator pad/foundation details.
* Structural calculations and anchorage details.
* Electrical load calculations.
* Grounding and bonding details.
* Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) connection details.
* Natural gas routing coordination (if required).
* Equipment schedules and installation details.
* Fire clearance and code compliance.
* Any additional drawings or calculations required by the City of Fremont.
Requirements
* Experience with California commercial electrical permits.
* Familiarity with CBC, CEC (NEC), NFPA 37, and NFPA 110.
* Ability to provide permit-ready plans and engineering calculations.
* Must be able to revise drawings if the city issues plan check comments until the permit is approved.

* Existing generator specifications.
* Previous drawing package for reference.
* Photos of the installation area.
* Property information and utility details.
A previous permit package already exists and includes architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical layouts for a generator installation. It is intended as a reference and will need to be updated for the new location and current project requirements.
Deliverables
* Permit-ready PDF drawing set.
* Editable CAD (DWG) files.
* Engineering calculations.
* Signed and stamped drawings if required by the City of Fremont.
* Revisions through final permit approval.
