EPLAN Greenhouse Control Schematics -- 2

Job ID: 40130196

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I need an experienced EPLAN designer to prepare electrical drawings for two greenhouse control panels, based on the specifications below.

General Requirements (both panels):

Drawings in EPLAN

Use ABB components

Weatherproof & dustproof enclosure

10–20% spare space inside panel

24 VDC control for climate controller

Manual / Automatic operation modes

Motor protection per fan group only

No local isolators for pumps or curtain motors

Pumps protected inside panel (local isolator near pump supplied separately)

Lighting: power supply only (local switch supplied separately)

24 VDC motors supplied via power supplies

Panel 1 – Greenhouse 1

Pumps: 3 × 3-phase, 0.75 kW

Fans: 14 × 3-phase, 1.1 kW → groups (3+3+4+4)

Thermal screen: 1 × 3-phase, 0.37 kW

Curtain motors: 5 × 24 VDC, 100 W

Service outputs: 1-phase + 3-phase, 16 A, service sockets on panel

Panel 2 – Greenhouse 2

Pumps: 5 × 3-phase, 0.75 kW

Fans: 24 × 3-phase, 1.1 kW → 4 groups of 6

Thermal screen: 1 × 3-phase, 0.55 kW

Curtain motors: 5 × 24 VDC, 120 W

Service outputs: 1-phase + 3-phase, 16 A, service sockets on panel

EPLAN Rules (Important)

Screw numbering on mounting plate: left → right, top → bottom

1 2 3
4 5 6

All components outside the panel (door, earthing, etc.) must start with # in their tag name

Deliverables:

EPLAN project files

PDF drawings

ABB-based device/BOM lists

Please include: EPLAN version + similar project examples.

I’m building a set of brand-new control panels for a greenhouse and I need the complete electrical design modelled in EPLAN Electric P8. The panels will serve the overall electrical engineering needs of the facility, so the drawings have to be rock-solid, ready for fabrication and future maintenance.

Scope
• Create fresh schematics from scratch – I don’t have legacy drawings to update.
• Integrate ABB hardware only: specifically their relays and contactors alongside matching ABB circuit breakers. No PLCs are planned at this stage.
• Deliver a full EPLAN project package: wiring diagrams, terminal and cable schedules, device tags, and an auto-generated bill of materials. All symbols must reference the correct ABB parts.

Acceptance
The project is done when I can open the file in EPLAN, see every component cross-referenced, print the drawings at A3 without errors, and hand the BOM straight to my panel builder.
