IT Department Setup for Renewable Energy Company

Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced IT professional or a small team to help establish a well-structured IT department for SunHills Solar, a growing renewable energy company based in India.
The goal is to build a foundational IT environment that supports our growth, ensures security and compliance, and improves operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and design IT infrastructure suitable for a scaling SME
Implement and configure Google Workspace for team communication and collaboration
Streamline and digitalize data management and maintenance workflows
Set up security protocols, user access controls, and data backup systems
Recommend and integrate essential tools (CRM, Helpdesk, Project Management, etc.)
Provide documentation and remote training to staff
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in IT infrastructure setup for startups/SMEs
Expertise in Google Workspace administration and automation
Familiarity with cloud-based tools and cybersecurity practices
Ability to suggest practical, budget-friendly solutions
Strong communication skills and professional documentation ability
Optional Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):
Website maintenance
CRM integration (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, odoo)
Automation using tools like Zapier, Make, or Google Apps Script
