Danish ESG & Governance Consultant
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
Over the next two years we are rolling out an ambitious sustainability project that places equal weight on solid corporate governance, transparent project monitoring, and high-impact visibility at trade fairs and exhibitions. To keep the momentum and meet Danish as well as EU-level expectations, I need an experienced consultant who can steer these three pillars while collaborating closely with our external partners and the relevant government agencies.
Scope of work
• Corporate governance – update policies, align board-level reporting with current ESG regulations, and embed measurable KPIs that satisfy both investors and regulators.
• Project monitoring – design a straightforward framework that tracks environmental and social metrics in real time, summarizes progress for quarterly stakeholder reviews, and flags emerging risks early.
• Trade fairs & exhibitions – create an annual participation plan, shape our sustainability narrative for each event, and ensure all booth materials, presentations, and side-events reinforce the governance improvements we are making.
Key tools & practices you should already be comfortable with include GRI or ESRS reporting structures, materiality assessments, stakeholder mapping, and standard project-tracking software (we currently use Power BI and Monday.com, but are open to your suggestions).
Deliverables (to be completed and signed off at agreed milestones)
1. Updated corporate governance charter with ESG KPI matrix.
2. Live dashboard for project-monitoring data, with training session for internal users.
3. Twelve-month trade-fair and exhibition calendar, including budgets, key messages, and post-event evaluation template.
Success criteria
• Governance charter approved by our board and acknowledged by the supervising ministry.
• Dashboards deliver automated monthly reports with <5 % data-quality errors.
• At least three major events showcase measurable ESG progress and generate verifiable media coverage.
