Computer Science Competition Team Lead
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Our university squad is gearing up for an upcoming inter-collegiate computer science competition, and I need someone to step in as the dedicated team leader. Your single, most important job is to keep six talented developers on track by breaking the overall project down into clear, bite-sized tasks and assigning them through an online project-management workspace (we currently use Trello, but I’m open to switching to Asana, Jira, or a similar tool if you have a stronger preference).
Here’s what I’ll hand over on day one:
• A brief of the competition rules and the solution concept we’ve already agreed on.
• Each member’s skill profile, availability, and preferred communication style.
What I expect you to deliver:
• A board (or equivalent) fully populated with milestones, cards, assignees, and realistic due dates.
• A short written rationale explaining how you prioritised tasks and balanced workloads.
• Ongoing adjustments to the board when blockers appear, keeping the team’s momentum steady until submission.
I’ll stay available for quick decisions, but day-to-day delegation will be yours. If you excel at translating big goals into organised sprints—and you enjoy motivating coders by giving them exactly the next right thing to do—this role should be straightforward and rewarding.
