Clothing Production Merchandiser
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m ready to launch a casual-wear line that draws on the hand-crafted skills of artisans based in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Bihar. The fabrics and techniques—block prints, chikankari, bandhani, handloom weaves and other regional specialties—are already identified; what I lack is a reliable production partner who can keep everything running smoothly from village workshop to finished rack-ready garment.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Day-to-day coordination with local artisans, tailors and dyeing units, making sure designs are interpreted correctly and deadlines are met.
• Development of tech packs, size specs and sampling for a range of casual silhouettes (shirts, tops, relaxed trousers, etc.).
• Quality control at each stage, with a sharp eye for consistency in stitching, colour fastness and finishing.
• Costing, timeline management and transparent reporting so I can place and track orders remotely.
• Consolidation and dispatch of finished pieces to my Delhi warehouse or the nearest port.
If you already work with craft clusters in any of these four states, understand their work rhythms and can switch easily between Hindi and the local dialects, we’ll hit the ground running. Experience with small-batch clothing production and familiarity with export documentation are both strong advantages.
Deliverables will be:
1. Approved samples for every style.
2. Weekly production status reports.
3. Final shipment of defect-free, press-finished garments, packed and labelled as per spec.
