Civil Engineer for Remote Excavation Support

Based in Seattle, Ramex Excavating delivers expert excavation, grading, soil management, and demolition services. From roads to stormwater solutions, trust us for precision. We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to provide remote support for our US projects.



Key Responsibilities:
Review construction drawings and plans
Perform takeoffs, quantity estimates, and cost calculations
Assist in estimating plans and quantities based on per-yard charges
Maintain project documentation and reports
Coordinate with US project managers via Zoom and email
Demonstrate business proficient-level English communication skills for effective coordination with US project managers
Support project schedules and ensure compliance with US construction standards

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
2+ years of civil engineering experience (design, estimating, or project support)
Civil engineering experience may include any combination of design, estimating, or project support work
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, or similar software
Proficiency in at least one of the following software tools: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, or similar alternatives
Strong communication and remote collaboration skills
Familiarity with US construction codes is a plus

Skills:
Estimating, takeoffs, and cost calculations
Project documentation and reporting
Remote collaboration tools: Zoom, Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace
Time management and independent problem solving

Work Hours & Schedule:
Mondays to Fridays
40 hours a week
Typically 6 am to 3 pm Philippine Time (2 pm to 10 pm US Pacific Time), but can be flexible as needed
