Cab Booking Platform Documentation -- 2

Job ID: 40362318

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I am putting together a full technical playbook for a web-based ride-hailing service similar to Ola or Uber. No coding is required yet; what I need is a crystal-clear document that a team of developers could pick up tomorrow and start building from immediately.

Scope
The document must open with a concise Introduction & Overview that explains the product vision, core value proposition, and high-level workflow. From there it should dive straight into Technical Specifications aimed squarely at fellow developers.

Key areas that must be covered
• User Registration & Authentication – flow diagrams, data models, recommended encryption/auth methods (JWT, OAuth2, etc.).
• Booking & Payment Process – booking life-cycle, real-time fare calculation, third-party payment gateway integration, WebSocket or MQTT suggestions for live status updates.
• Driver & Vehicle Management – driver onboarding, vehicle records, assignment logic, availability tracking.

Technical depth
Please outline recommended tech stack options (e.g., Node.js/Express or Django for the backend, React or Vue for the frontend, relational vs. NoSQL storage, Redis for queues, AWS/GCP hosting). Include database schema diagrams, API endpoint definitions (REST/GraphQL), sequence diagrams, and any microservice boundary you deem appropriate. Performance, security, and scalability considerations should be embedded throughout rather than tacked on at the end.

Deliverables
• A single, well-structured document (PDF or Markdown) containing the Introduction & Overview and complete Technical Specifications.
• All diagrams supplied in an editable format (Draw.io, Lucidchart, or similar).
• A brief changelog so future updates can be tracked.

Acceptance criteria
The documentation must be detailed enough that a mid-level developer unfamiliar with the project could implement a working prototype without additional guidance.

If you have previous examples of similar architecture documents, feel free to mention them when you respond so I can gauge fit.
