BOQ & BOM Verification Update
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I have two reference files for my commercial project: the architect’s final finish drawings and an Excel sheet that I drafted from his original BOQ. Your task is to reconcile these documents and hand back a single, fully completed spreadsheet.
Here is what I need you to do:
• Cross-check every line item in my Excel sheet against the architect’s files and make sure nothing is missing.
• Break each entry into both materials and labour so the Bill of Materials and the Bill of Quantities mirror one another.
• Verify all quantities directly from the floor plans, updating figures where necessary. If any item is calculated by area (m²), include that area value in a separate column to justify the total.
• Populate prices using the URL links I provide; when no link is available, source a realistic market rate and note your source. This will give me a balanced mix of supplier and market pricing.
• Flag any discrepancies or assumptions in a comments column so I can trace your logic quickly.
Deliverable: a clean, well-formatted Excel workbook ready for cost analysis, plus a short summary of key changes and outstanding questions (if any).
Accuracy and clarity are more important than speed. If you have worked with construction BOQs, quantity surveying, or cost estimating software, mention it in your proposal so I can gauge fit.
