Program Design for Cyclocross Magazine
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hello! We run a digital website called Cyclocross Magazine. We write articles about cycling-related content, specifically cyclocross, gravel, and road. We create content to keep our readers informed on what’s going on in the cyclocross community. Our website is currently being hosted on WordPress.
We are looking for a programmer/developer to design a program for us. The program detail will be in the program description. What we would like to know:
1. Quote of how much it would cost to create and set up.
2. Payment options. Ie PayPal, Zelle, Check, etc.
3. Payment breakdown.
4. Timeframe of how long this would project would take. Total hours and how many days.
5. Programmer/developer milestones.
6. Contact information.
7. Portfolio
Program description:
A program that would monitor the website UCI for any cyclocross race results. Whenever a new race result shows up, the program would create a draft post on WordPress. The program would scrape the site for the race results, save as an Excel CSV, and import it into Tablepress(or other suitable methods). The program will then upload the Tablepress result onto the draft. The program would also create a title using the name of the race and “full results” at the end of the title. The program will then save it as a draft and send an alert to an editor(s)’s email.
Specific Requirements. P1 and P2 are mandatory. P3 are just features we would like but are not mandatory:
P1: Monitor the UCI website for any new race reports.
P1: Scrape UCI race reports and save as an Excel CSV file.
P1: Import UCI race reports onto Tablepress.
P1: Create a draft post on WordPress.
P1: Import the table(see link for example of the table) into the draft.
P1: Save the draft.
P2: Create a relevant title.
P3: Use the correct tags.
P3: Checkmark the featured box.
P3: Add shortcodes.
P3: Add Avantlink related products keywords.
P3: Alert editor(s)’s email.
