I need a skilled sourcing agent to find the right factory for a new product: a baby car seat clip with a temperature alarm feature. This product combines baby and electronic elements, requiring potential collaboration on the board/chip.
Payment for this project will be based on production and ability of the factory/manufacturer to produce this item. We are looking to produce up to 20k items.
Payment structure will be based on finding a company that is able to produce an electronic baby product to our specs and with certifications ($200-$250) Negotiate a price under $10 landed cost ($100) and speed of production and sample items ($100). This is negotiable based on experience and confidence of agent.
Requirements:
- Factory Type: Specialized manufacturer for combined products (baby and electronics)
- Key Factor: Price is a big factor- we want the landed cost to be $10 range after importing to usa. Quality of materials is paramount- speed of production is a big factor as well
- Certifications: Factory must meet ISO, CPSC, and RoHS standards
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience in sourcing for hybrid products
- Strong network of qualified factories
- Knowledge of quality standards and certifications
- Ability to facilitate collaboration for product development
