Freelancer to help with sourcing suppliers
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am starting a new website where I will be selling furniture/homeware items from all around the work to UK customers.
The idea is to allow customers to be able to purchase hot selling items from around the world but from the UK.
At the moment there are a lot of UK supplies who specialise in selling specific items from one country:
i.e. company in the UK selling Indian arts & crafts
Company in the UK selling Italian furniture and homeware
Company in the UK selling Turkish lights/lighting appliances
Company in the UK selling African furniture
company in the UK selling Middle eastern/persian rugs....and so on.
The following categories of products we will be selling will include:
1) Homeware
2) Home Decor
3) Lighting
4) Seating
5) Storage
6) Mirrors
7) Outdoor furniture
I need to source companies from the UK that specialise in selling the above items from different countries.
I am searching for a freelancer to get involved with the market research work, to help find UK companies that sell products from around the world.
Your task would be:
1) Find companies that sell country specific goods,
i.e. find that company (must be based in the UK) that sells:
company in the UK selling Indian arts & crafts
Company in the UK selling Italian furniture and homeware
Company in the UK selling Turkish lights/lighting appliances
Company in the UK selling African furniture
company in the UK selling Middle eastern/persian rugs....and so on.
2) Contact them and initiate communication and tell them we are looking to establish a relationship (i.e. we will want to buy your products and sell them on our website)
3) Obtain Prices
4) Collate all information on a spreadsheet so that I know exactly all of the products we can sell on our website, the price of the goods, the country of origin, and whether we have established communication with supplier.
Remember all suppliers must be UK companies, as I do not want to ship items from abroad. I want to offer same-day delivery, and for that all items must be sourced from UK suppliers.
If you do this task well this can lead to a full time role with the company.
Project fee: $250.
Milestones will be created and released upon agreed timescales.
Duration: 2-4 weeks.
