I am seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Sourcing Specialist to identify high-potential, hot-selling products on https://www.google.com/search?q=Alibaba.com that can be profitably resold in the UK market (via platforms like Amazon FBA, eBay, or a dedicated e-commerce store). The primary goal is to secure the lowest possible wholesale price to maximize profit margins.
Key Responsibilities
• Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify trending, high-demand, and evergreen products currently selling well in the UK market.
• Supplier Identification: Utilize Alibaba to find reliable, verified, and high-quality suppliers for the selected products.
• Price Negotiation: Negotiate effectively with multiple suppliers to secure the lowest possible unit cost (including Minimum Order Quantity - MOQ) and favorable shipping/payment terms.
• Cost Analysis: Calculate the total landed cost of the product, including unit price, shipping, customs duties, and import VAT, to determine potential profitability in the UK.
• Product Vetting: Assess product quality, request samples (if required), and review supplier history/ratings to minimize risk.
• Data Reporting: Present detailed findings in a clear, organized format (e.g., spreadsheet) including product idea, supplier contact, cost breakdown, estimated UK selling price, and predicted profit margin.
Required Skills & Experience
