Palm Desert Knife Product Photos
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am refreshing my web-shop for the wood-carving knives I make here in Palm Desert, CA and need a local photographer to create clean, consistent product shots. For the initial batch I have ten knives; each one needs two finished images:
• a full-length profile on a plain white background
• a tight close-up that shows the grind and handle detail, also on pure white
Everything should be lit with a controlled studio setup so the steel and wood read clearly without harsh reflections. I do not want any props—just the knives isolated against white—so they drop straight into the site.
Because I won’t ship these pieces, the shoot has to happen at my workshop or a nearby studio you can bring a small light kit to. Once we agree on the look, I’ll need the edited, high-resolution JPEGs plus web-ready versions (sRGB, 2000 px on the long side) delivered via shared drive. Naming each file with the knife model will keep my catalog organized.
If the collaboration goes smoothly, I’ll need additional batches shot in the same style, and I’m happy to discuss a fair per-knife rate for future work.
