Upload images to 3000 products on shopify manually
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My Shopify catalogue has roughly 3,000 SKUs that are still missing photos. I need someone to locate official product images on each manufacturer’s website, download them, tidy up the filenames, and then load them into the correct product records in my store.
You’ll receive a spreadsheet that lists every SKU, product name and its corresponding manufacturer. From there the flow is straightforward:
• Visit the manufacturer’s site, pull the best-quality, watermark-free photos (front, angle, back if available).
• Rename each file to match the SKU, compress lightly so pages stay fast, and add clear alt-text.
• Upload the images through the Shopify admin, making sure the featured image is set and any variants share the right photo.
Acceptance criteria
– Every SKU in the sheet shows at least one accurate image live on the store.
– Files are organised in folders (or a cloud share) that mirror the SKU list so future maintenance is simple.
– No mismatched products, stretched thumbnails, or unresolved placeholders.
Basic image-editing tools such as Photoshop, Canva, or an online compressor are fine; just keep the final dimensions consistent across the catalogue. If scripts or bulk-upload apps make the work faster, feel free to use them as long as each product still ends up with the right picture.
Let me know your estimated turnaround time for the full 3,000-item batch and any similar Shopify projects you’ve completed.
