# Product & Technical Lead – Phactor (Healthcare Social Platform)

## About Phactor

Phactor is a healthcare-focused social platform built for doctors, medical students, healthcare professionals, and organizations. We are looking for a Product & Technical Lead who can own the product, coordinate development, manage third-party vendors, and gradually build an independent in-house technology team.

This is a long-term leadership role with the objective of ensuring that **Phactor remains completely under the company's control without long-term dependency on any third-party development company.**

## Primary Responsibilities

### Product Ownership

* Understand the founder's vision and convert ideas into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
* Create user stories, acceptance criteria, feature specifications, and product documentation.
* Plan product roadmap and prioritize features.
* Coordinate with UI/UX designers and ensure designs are implemented correctly.

### Technical Leadership

* Review technical architecture and recommend scalable solutions.
* Guide frontend, backend, and mobile development.
* Review source code and maintain coding standards.
* Approve technical decisions before implementation.
* Ensure security, performance, scalability, and maintainability of the platform.

### Third-Party Development Management

* Act as the primary point of contact with the existing development company.
* Assign work, monitor progress, and conduct regular follow-ups.
* Review every delivery before acceptance.
* Ensure timelines, quality, and documentation standards are maintained.
* Prevent technical dependency on any external vendor.

### Integration & Code Ownership

* Review and merge code received from third-party developers.
* Manage GitHub repositories, branches, pull requests, and release workflows.
* Ensure all code follows company standards before deployment.
* Coordinate integrations between multiple vendors and internal systems.

### Knowledge Transfer & Project Handover

Lead the complete transition of the project from the current development company to Phactor.

This includes:

* Complete source code ownership
* GitHub repositories
* Backend architecture
* Mobile applications
* API documentation
* Database structure
* Server & cloud infrastructure
* CI/CD pipelines
* Firebase
* Apple Developer & Google Play Console
* Third-party integrations
* Environment configurations
* Deployment process
* Technical documentation
* Credentials and access management

Ensure every technical asset is transferred, documented, and independently manageable by Phactor.

### Team Building

* Help recruit frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps engineers as required.
* Mentor internal developers.
* Establish engineering processes and documentation standards.
* Build a scalable in-house engineering team over time.

## Required Skills

* 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Technical Lead roles.
* Strong understanding of mobile application architecture.
* Experience with React Native, backend APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
* Experience managing third-party software development companies.
* Ability to review code and guide developers.
* Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, and release management.
* Strong documentation and communication skills.
* Experience working with Agile/Scrum.

The successful candidate should be able to:

* Manage the complete product lifecycle.

* Ensure high-quality technical delivery.
* Build internal technical processes.
* Complete the transition from third-party dependency to an in-house managed platform.
* Ensure all code, infrastructure, documentation, and intellectual property remain under Phactor's ownership.
* Build a technology organization where no individual or vendor becomes a single point of failure.
