Product Security, Product Manager, US based
Budget: $20 – $120 USD
Required availability: ~30hrs/week
Timeframe: 12 months
This person will be responsible for product leadership, planning, and execution, including:
-Gathering requirements and prioritizing requirements
-Defining the vision for the product
-Collaborating with internal and client stakeholders
-Ensuring that the company's overall strategy and goals are supported by those of the product
The Product Security, Product Manager will receive a vision and roadmap with solutions to address the information security needs of our clients. They will help innovate and deliver security features including:
-Customer feedback loop
-BYO keys
-Suspicious login notification
-Enabling MFA, 2FA, etc
-Encryption at rest
Requirements:
Define vision and strategy for products and convert them into a workable blueprint for internal and client teams
Provide technical leadership for requirements gathering implementation, testing, and delivery
Assist product team with sprints from ideation through deployment identifying client needs, designing, and validating concepts, developing epics and user stories
Collect and analyze market research and other data points to identify key themes, validate assumptions, find new market gaps for potential new products
Define potential issues in product and identify ways to improve product offerings
Use technical expertise to devise custom solutions and ideas that can be communicated to and implemented by the development team
Develop contingency plans to address potential risk
Track performance of launched products, gathering stakeholder feedback and analyzing metrics to identify product refinements
Communicate cross-functionally key decisions and status updates
Drive security best practices for our SaaS and Cloud products/portfolio
Current experience with day-to-day Fed Ramp requirements and preparations
Strong understanding of GovCloud requirements
Driving Roadmap initiatives to completion
Support content for customer requests for info
Support security content for marketing/website
Possess a Computer Science Bachelor's Degree or substantial equivalent experience
Seven years of professional experience in information security
Security related certifications such as CISSP, CISA, and CRISC are strongly preferred
Direct, hands-on experience managing security processes
Possession of security or infrastructure-related certifications is a plus
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities
A customer service orientation with the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Knowledge of ISO 27001 required, CIS and FedRAMP is a plus
Experience with tools such as Whitehat, Tenable, and Qualys
Hands-on experience with vulnerability analysis, risk analysis, and penetration testing
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical constituents
Proficiency in oral and written English
Enthusiastic and self-starter, possess a go-getter attitude
Ability to maintain critical thinking and composure under pressure
Desired skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar degree; equivalent experience will be considered
8+ years’ experience as Product Manager or Product Owner of enterprise products to include writing technical requirements and leading technical solution sessions
Demonstrated SaaS, Retail, and eCommerce Product Management Vertical experience required!
Client-facing communicator with affinity for change management and solution design
Hands-on experience working in Agile/SDLC environment
History of owning, developing, and communicating long-term vision and goals that drives strategies for product portfolio
Independent critical thinker who brings a point-of-view supported by data
Strong collaborator with proven experience working cross-functionally
FedRAMP implementation experience
