About the Role
Alcotech Pte. Ltd. is seeking a qualified and experienced Cosmetic Notification (CN) Specialist to manage the regulatory responsibilities for overseas cosmetic products registration in Malaysia for Alcotech Pte Ltd. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) guidelines and facilitating seamless product notifications via the QUEST 3+ system.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Notification: Submit cosmetic product notifications through the QUEST 3+ online system.
- Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary contact with NPRA, addressing queries and ensuring compliance.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all products adhere to NPRA guidelines, including labeling, claims, ingredient restrictions, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with NPRA regulations and the "Guidelines for Control of Cosmetic Products in Malaysia."
- System Proficiency: Experience with the QUEST 3+ system is highly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of cosmetic product ingredients, safety assessments, and claims regulations.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to maintain and organize regulatory documentation, including the Product Information File (PIF).
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Pharmacy/Chemistry/Public Health/Cosmetic Science/Regulatory Affairs Or a related life science field
- ASEAN Knowledge: Understanding of the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive and its local application.
- Consulting Abilities: Capability to provide regulatory consulting or documentation support when needed.
