About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team and take ownership of defining a new healthcare technology product. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the United States healthcare system, be able to identify opportunities for technology solutions that will improve healthcare outcomes, and work with User Experience and Development teams to create a product that will support clinicians, patients, and payors.
Responsibilities:
Define high-level product requirements based on stakeholder input, patient needs, and provider needs.
Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and functions, and working with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product releases.
Conduct market and user research to identify opportunities and define product features that meet user needs.
Collaborate with User Experience teams to create user stories, wireframes, and prototypes.
Work with Development teams to ensure successful implementation of product features and functions.
Lead product demonstrations and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for future product enhancements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements related to healthcare technology products.
Qualifications:
Preferred degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a healthcare technology company in the United States healthcare system.
In-depth knowledge of the United States healthcare system, including experience working with clinicians, patients, and payors.
Proven ability to define and prioritize product requirements based on stakeholder input, patient needs, and provider needs.
Experience working with Agile development teams and creating user stories, wireframes, and prototypes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Experience with regulatory and security requirements related to healthcare technology products.
