P4 LED Module Circuit Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am designing an outdoor P4 LED module that will be driven around a Chipone IC and I need a complete circuit developed for it. The goal is very clear: the board must display still images, videos cleanly and reliably on an 80 × 40 pixel matrix, even when it is mounted in demanding outdoor installations.
Key points you should know
• Functionality: image display only, no scrolling text or animated graphics at this stage.
• Pixel matrix: 80 columns by 40 rows (a custom resolution that sits between the usual 64 × 64 and 128 × 128 panels).
• Environment: the board will live in high-humidity, high-temperature and dusty locations, so component selection, conformal-coating recommendations and connector placement must respect that.
• Core driver: Chipone IC family (please specify the exact part you propose once we confirm current draw and refresh requirements).
• Power: typical 5 V LED rail plus logic rails as required—keep total power consumption within standard P4 cabinet limits.

3. Annotated BOM with outdoor-rated components and alternative part suggestions in case of supply issues.
4. Brief design report explaining timing, refresh calculations and any special steps you took for the environmental constraints.
5. Optional but welcome: guidelines for conformal coating or gasket sealing, so the assembly team can keep IP-rating targets on track.
