I'm in the early stages of creating a brand of innovative clocks, starting with a multi-hand model featuring 7 distinct hands.
Design Requirements:
- 3 hands function as a typical clock.
- 4 additional hands cycle once every 24 hours, weekly, monthly, and annually.
- The monthly hand presents a challenge. I'm open to suggestions for its movement:
1. A fixed average duration of 30 days, 10 hours and 19 minutes for every month.
2. A programmable stepper motor synchronized with internet timing for precise movements.
Power Source:
- The clock's power source is flexible; I'm looking for the most convenient option, be it battery-powered, mains-powered or solar-powered.
Construction Materials:
- I'll design the clock body myself, so the choice of materials for the clock's internal mechanisms is open. Please consider options that are practical, durable and cost-effective.
Ideal Candidate:
- You should have extensive experience in clock or intricate mechanism design.
- Skills in gear design, battery slot integration and overall mechanism design are crucial.
