Trolling Motor Performance Tuning

Job ID: 39513923

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

The custom trolling motor upper housing unit is a two-piece enclosure designed to efficiently house three Ovonic 6S 5000mAh 120C soft case LiPo batteries, along with an ESC, receiver, water pump mount, shaft passthrough, and internal wiring channels—all within a compact, aerodynamic shell. The entire unit measures 260 mm in length, 180 mm in width, and 80 mm in total height (with 45 mm for the base and 35 mm for the dome-style top), with 3 mm thick walls for durability and printability. Inside the bottom housing, three battery bays are arranged lengthwise along the 260 mm axis, each bay measuring approximately 158 × 48 × 53 mm to accommodate the soft packs with room for airflow and cable clearance. A 5 mm gap separates each battery, and space is reserved at the rear or above the center battery for a 100 × 45 × 20 mm ESC compartment. Additional features include a 40 × 30 × 15 mm receiver bay, a 50 × 50 mm water pump mount pad with screw holes, and 5–10 mm wire routing grooves molded into the base walls. A 20.1 mm passthrough hole in the rear or base allows for the motor shaft, and four mounting bosses with 5 mm holes at each corner accommodate M3 bolts to fasten the lid. The top dome is sculpted with a center rise to fit over the battery terminals and features optional vent slots (2 × 20 mm each), a 2 mm waterproof sealing lip, and a removable access panel measuring 180 × 100 mm. Cable gland cutouts (Ø10 mm) and antenna slots are included for external connectivity, and a 5 mm anti-drip overhang wraps the bottom edge to protect the seal. The entire assembly is optimized for printability, compactness, waterproofing, and efficient heat/cable management while maintaining a sleek, marine-ready profile.

i need it to fit on a ender 3 so it needs to be able to be printed in parts and have keys and keyways to align and be glued together
