Rotating cup with helical blade
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am looking for a method to fill a tub (paper cup, 500ml) with a viscous ice cream from a machine. The concept is a funnel with a cup that has a blade in it which is a helix. This will be rotated by a hand-held small electric motor (battery operated) to rotate the cup, producing a simple 'pump' which pushes and forms the ice cream to load the cup easily. I am looking for quotes to make the cup parts out of 3D printed plastic (food grade) or metal (stainless steel) and to make an electric drive mechanism. The picture is NOT showing the suggested drive method. What I am thinking is more like the battery operated tin opener, which has a cog to engage a lip, like the one shown.
