Description:
I’m looking for an experienced product designer to help refine and finalize the design of a plastic consumer product. The concept is already developed, and an initial design exists, but it needs adjustments to prepare it for manufacturing (preferably injection molding).
Tasks Include:
Reviewing and editing the existing 3D design (PDF file available)
Ensuring the design is optimized for injection molding (DFM)
Adding draft angles and addressing undercuts if needed
Preparing manufacturing-ready files (CAD and technical drawings)
Ideal Skills:
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
Strong experience with plastic product design
Knowledge of injection molding requirements
Good communication and attention to detail
Ability to give design suggestions for improvement
