We are seeking an experienced RF/Antenna Engineer, Aerospace Engineer, or Industrial Designer to assist in outlining a conceptual design for a mobile phased array antenna system. The system will be used for tracking Low Earth Orbit (LEO) micro- and small satellites, enabling command transmission, status monitoring, and data reception.

The freelancer will be responsible for:
✅ Outlining the core technical concept (antenna configuration, frequency bands, beam steering).
✅ Designing a realistic system layout (portable/military-grade vehicle-mounted or deployable unit).
✅ Creating professional 3D renders (to visualize design, deployment configurations, and operational scenarios).

? Project Scope & Deliverables

? Milestone 1: Technical Concept Document (40%) – [Delivery: Day 1-2]

? A structured technical document that outlines:
• Operating Frequency Bands (X-band, S-band, Ka-band, etc.) for satellite communication.
• Beam Steering Technology (Fully digital vs. hybrid phased array).
• Antenna Gain & Performance Expectations (Beam width, tracking precision, link budget considerations).
• Mobile Deployment Configuration (Vehicle-mounted vs. trailer-mounted vs. deployable field unit).
• Integration with Ground Station & Network (How it communicates with satellites and other ground systems).
• Power & Environmental Considerations (Battery/solar integration, extreme weather tolerance).

? Deliverable:
• PDF report (5-10 pages) with technical specifications & system concept overview.



? Milestone 2: Conceptual CAD Model & Structural Layout (30%) – [Delivery: Day 3-4]

? Create an initial 3D model and visual representation of the mobile tracking system:
• External antenna housing design (ruggedized & deployable options).
• Antenna array layout (number of elements, panel configurations).
• Support Equipment Design (power supply, processing unit, cooling systems).
• Deployment Mechanism (fixed vs. retractable/rotatable).

? Deliverable:
• CAD model or high-detail concept sketch (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Blender, or equivalent).
• Accompanying 2-3 page technical explanation.



? Milestone 3: Realistic 3D Renders & Final Presentation (30%) – [Delivery: Day 5-6]

? Generate photorealistic renders of the phased array antenna system in:
• Operational mode (Tracking satellites in an open environment).
• Deployment mode (Antenna setup in field conditions).
• Compact/Transport mode (For vehicle-mounted or containerized transport).
• User Interface (Optional) – Visualization of control station or monitoring dashboard.

? Deliverable:
• 3-5 photorealistic renders (High-resolution PNG/JPEG).
• Final presentation deck (PowerPoint or PDF summarizing design concept & features).



? Required Skills & Expertise

✅ Experience in RF/Antenna Design, Aerospace Engineering, or Ground Station Development.
✅ Proficiency in 3D modeling & rendering software (SolidWorks, Blender, Fusion 360, KeyShot, or similar).
✅ Knowledge of satellite communication protocols & phased array beamforming.
✅ Strong ability to deliver detailed technical documentation & high-quality visuals under tight deadlines.
