Mechanical engineer for enhancing design of Waist section wearable exoskeleton

Endoenergy is involved in commercialisation of wearable assistive exoskeletons to help elderly people move around for normal daily living activities. Most of the mechanical design to achieve the product functionality has been completed but several functionality features need completion or enhancement as well as initiating Industrial Design of the Engineering Design.
We are seeking an experienced mechanical system engineer to support us in completing our engineering product design while meeting the requirements of real-world markets. The person needs to be flexible and willing to work with people in different time zones. The engineering design work for the waist section is to be carried out within an engineering team and in collaboration with an Industrial Designer to achieve the following enhancements in the Engineering Design:

Collaboration with Industrial Designer to achieve an aesthetically pleasing design in appearance, functionality, and overall usability to meet market needs

Collaboration with engineers designing the Battery pack and the Femur Section

Waist adjustment methods to be designed and included in Waist width and Waist depth

Waist attachment method to be designed and included ensuring easy manual tightening by wearer

Comfortable freely moving passive hip joint mechanism that links to the Femur section designed by another engineer to ensure comfortable and natural hip motions during use

Covers designed by Industrial Designer: IP65 rating and functionality requirements to be designed and included

Battery Pack and BMS designed by another engineer: Integration for functionality and usability to be designed and included

Sub-systems, sensors, electronics boards, display screen, LED panels, relays, switches, etc integration to be included in the design

Material selection for all parts considering specific part role and purpose in the waist section to be completed

Suggestion for manufacturing method for efficiently realising each part for production and the tolerancing needed in the manufacturing.
