I am looking for an industrial or product designer with experience in sports equipment design, specifically in the field of tennis, to develop an innovative tennis grip. This grip should incorporate a Velcro system instead of the traditional adhesive for attachment to the racquet handle.
Project Requirements:
Velcro Tennis Grip:
The grip design should include a strip of Velcro on the initial part, where the adhesive is normally placed.
The Velcro must be strong and able to withstand frequent use, ensuring that the grip stays firmly in place during play.
Intermediate Piece with Velcro and Adhesive:
An additional piece should be designed that has Velcro on one side and adhesive on the other.
This piece will serve to attach to the racquet handle, allowing the grip to adhere easily through the Velcro system.
The adhesive on this piece must be strong and durable, ensuring that it will not peel off during normal use.
