Infrared Emitter Module Design
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I need to design an infrared emitter module. The main purpose is to heat varying wall thicknesses of HDPE PE100 pipes, which will allow extrusion of a smaller branch under pressure (see photo attached).
Requirements:
- Design of IR module to heat prototype area of 400 x 300mm (lamp layout and types).
- Using medium-long wave quartz IR emitters - I have a supplier for the lamps and they can build the module arrangement once designed.
- Scaleable to varying pipe thicknesses and diameters.
- Medium-high precision in temperature control.
- Indoor workshop use only.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Expertise in infrared heating technology.
- Experience with temperature control systems.
- Knowledge of HDPE materials and behavior under heat.
- Ability to design modules suitable for indoor environments.
