Heliostat design to reflect sun light into a parabolic reflector
Budget: ₹2,000 – ₹4,500 INR
I am looking for an experienced engineer or designer to create an innovative heliostat design (two number ) that will allow us to harness sunlight and reflect it into a specular parabolic reflector (both the heliostats will focus into a single parabolic reflector) with a two axis tracking system. The build materials need to be aluminium and the project needs to be completed in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We need someone who is capable of researching and evaluating the engineering calculations, factors and constraints to ensure the successful completion of the project. The end goal of the project is to create a heliostat structure that can accurately and reliably track the sun's position and reflect bright sunlight into a larger parabolic reflector. The successful completion of the project will enable us to capture and use the sun's energy to power our operations.
The aim of the project is to build a working prototype. The distance between the heliostats and the parabolic reflector will be only two meter. The solar tracking program is to be executed through an arduino mega board. Mini GPS may also be used.
