Determine Engineering Specifications for using Metal Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) or Insulated Metal Sandwich Panels (IMP) as walls and roof of small building

Job ID: 38571064

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

We are looking for someone with experience in Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) and Insulated Metal Sandwich Panels (IMP) to help us determine the correct specifications for our project. We are designing a new small building that can be used as a shed, accessory structure, and/or Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). We are planning to make it 12 feet x 20 feet. Additional details will be given once you sign an NDA with our company.

Core Density (80kg/m3 100kg/m3 or other density)
Core Thickness (50, 75, 100, 150mm)
Metal Skin Thickness (0.3, 0.4, or 0.5mm)
Joint Design - Ensuring that the way the panels join together is strong enough

This design needs to meet the requirements of our local government:
- Wind = 115 Miles per hour (186 Kilometers per hour)
- Snow Load 30 pounds per square foot (146.5 kgf/m²)

Skills Needed
Experience with SIPs and IMPs
Experience with US Building Code
Structural Engineering Experience

For an extra boost in consideration when I award this project please put "I have experience working with SIPs and/or Sandwich Panels" as the first line of your proposal
