We are seeking an experienced and creative Designer to develop a modern and sleek housing for our state-of-the-art traction loss platform used in a racing simulator. The platform is comprised of three layers: a base layer, a second layer equipped with two linear motors for left and right movement, and a top layer with a single linear motor for forward and backward movement. We have a basic frame design already established but need a designer to refine and enhance the aesthetics to match our modern and high-performance simulator systems.
Responsibilities:
-Design a visually appealing, modern, and sleek housing for the traction loss platform that complements the existing frame design.
-Ensure that the housing facilitates easy access to the mechanical components for maintenance and adjustment without compromising on style.
-Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate technical specifications and ensure the housing accommodates all mechanical movements (left-right and forward-backward) efficiently.
-Create CAD drawings and 3D models that reflect the intended contemporary design and are ready for production.
-Consider materials and manufacturing processes that are suitable for a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Requirements:
-Proven track record in industrial design, particularly in designing modern, consumer-facing products.
-Expertise in CAD software and 3D modeling tools necessary for creating detailed and accurate design representations.
-Ability to translate basic frame structures into highly aesthetic and functional designs.
