Design Developement of Rotating Control Device (RCD)
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
Introduction: RCD is used in the Oil and Gas Drilling Industry. RCD creates a secure seal around rotating drill pipe and tool joints using an elastomer element (RCD Element). You can google it, you will find huge resources avialable online as start with.
Scope: You will be responsible for design (research and developement) and define bill of material for purchase/manufacturing. You can use Rotary seals from kalsi.com or similar. There are lots of companies are manufacturing similar product, but we need to make sure we dont copy other design/patent. You will prepare technical paper showing how its different from others in the market. You DO NOT need to conduct FEA (non-linear). Drawings can be excluded from your scope if you want.
