CubeSat Platform Conceptual Design -- 2

Job ID: 32042728

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Given a basic CubeSat structure, an open source standard, add some basic arduino and arduino shields as it will be discussed.
The main structure will be cut using a 3-axis desktop CNC machine and it is made of aluminum 601 T6. The joints might be built using a 3D printer (polyCarbonate or other material resistant to temperature variations in the range -40C to +120C in principle and induced vacuum) or the CNC. In any case, we want to have an aluminum CNC'd version and a policarbonate 3D printed version.
All of the CAD files for the components are available online (we will use open source models with light changes at this stage) so the work is mainly integration, aesthetics, rendering and G-code / STL generation.

Software preference: Autodesk Fusion 360 (main), Inventor (second)

Deliverable,

- CAD files (original + STEP + Fusion 360)
- Renderings (2 groups of 3 plots using same scale, same perspective -Hide some components and save-)
- STL files
- G-code for CNC
