Concept and CAD Designs for Bracket to Hold Tracker Device
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need a bracket to be designed as a concept and then in CAD that can hold a small GPS tracking device securely and then allow it to fix to a frame (1” x 1” box steel). The housing must do the following:
1) allow the GPS tracker to be easily removed from the bracket when release mechanism is undone (clip/screw etc)
2) hold the GPS tracker securely when release mechanism is closed/done up
3) allows the bracket to be attached to a 1”x1” steel box section securely and removed easily
The bracket does not need to fully cover the tracker as it is waterproof and enclosed
The bracket will need to be designed with cost effective manufacturing in mind. The bracket will be made in small volumes (20-40) so moulding or pressing will not be viable. Machining, folding and welding are possible in small volume
