Compact Infotainment Tablet Case Design
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I am looking for a skilled product designer to create a minimalistic, easy-to-manufacture design for a small infotainment tablet case. This case is intended for the back of the seats in coaches.
The unique aspect of this project is that the case will need to accommodate a custom PCBA design. As such, your experience in electronics design, specifically, with PCBAs, will be greatly beneficial for this assignment.
The role requires:
- Expertise in minimalist product design
- Understanding of small form-factor plastic products
- Familiarity with the requirements and constraints of plastic injection molding
- Considerable experience in electronic product design, particularly with PCBA design and integration.
Please note: While this project is primarily about the case design, having a clear sense of how the internal components (i.e., the custom PCBA) could best be housed within the case is absolutely essential. Your design should not only look good but should also take into account efficient heat dissipation, ease of access for servicing, and inherent protection for the tablet.
