Clinical Research & Product Design Leader

Fusatech is building a CBPM-specific platform that links clinic assessments, prescribing, patient-reported outcomes and pharmacy dispensing, with clinical decision support and AI tools. Our advisory network includes a professor at Johns Hopkins, UK medical directors and front-line CBPM clinicians.
Role
We need a freelance Product & Clinical Research Lead to bridge product and clinical work, ensuring our pilots, workflows and CDSS plans reflect real practice and regulation.
Key responsibilities
Co-design and refine clinic pilot plans, including clinical workflows, data capture and evaluation criteria.
Create and maintain clinician onboarding packs, expectations documents and clinical checklists.
Design and document the CDSS planning framework and shadow-mode evaluation plan.
Develop onboarding and incentive approaches for clinicians participating in pilots and CDSS work.
Conduct or support structured clinician and stakeholder interviews, and translate findings into clear product requirements.
Review clinician and patient-facing materials for clinical accuracy, risk and regulatory fit.
Collaborate closely with the CTO, Strategy and Operations to prioritise clinically high-value features and safeguards.

Hard-working and comfortable moving between clinical detail and product implications.
Highly responsive and available within 09:00–21:00 UK time, Monday–Saturday.
Take initiative in defining what evidence and input we need from clinicians.
Think strategically about clinical value, safety and regulatory expectations.
Logical and structured in how you design frameworks, pilots and CDSS logic.
Data-driven and evidence-orientated, comfortable working with outcomes, cohorts and real-world data.

Francesca, Business Manager (with close collaboration with clinical advisors).
