Ceramic machining
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
Machined ceramic plate using Macor or Vitro 800, Aluminium Nitride etc.
Macor has been tested and found to be suitable, however the tested components were only 106x106x10mm, we are looking to prototype a larger size 340x100.5x5.5mm.
At this time we require only two units to test, then subject to suitability we would look for 100pcs to be ordered at a time.
The rear face is used for liquid cooling and the front will be copper metalised having a circuit etched into this for direct electronics placement, we have tested all processes to date and looking to progress the product development.
