CAD Design for Innovative "Wrap-Lock" Pallet

Job ID: 40057657

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

We are a logistics startup developing the "Wrap-Lock," a hybrid composite pallet that eliminates plastic shrink wrap. We require a manufacturing-ready CAD assembly (SolidWorks/STEP).

The Challenge: Design a lightweight (<45 lbs total) pallet that houses a Wide-Format Retractable Mesh Containment System.

Specific Design Requirements:

Composite Structure: Design for Pultruded Fiberglass Skeleton over-molded with Structural Foam.

Wide-Format Mechanism: Design an internal spring-loaded roller housing (within the 4" stringer height) to hold 18ft of mesh fabric.

3-Point Interface: The fabric pull-bar must have 3 distinct locking tongues that mate with 3 recessed buckles on the opposing side.

Weight Optimization: Use truss geometries and cable-actuated linkages to ensure the total assembly stays under 45 lbs.

Bi-Directional Clearance: Solve for the clearance where the Side A-C roller crosses the Side B-D roller in the center (e.g., offset heights).

Deliverables:

Native 3D CAD files & STEP export.

2D Technical Drawings with critical dimensions.
