Beautiful Contact Lens Case

Please note that the following description is based on my initial thoughts but I am open to broad feedback on every element of the design. These are just some basic ideas.
I am looking to design a beautiful contact lens case made from aluminum and then coated with precious metals or anodized.
It should be tactile but functional and have a nod to the qualities found in high-end watch making.
The job is to work with me to finalise a design and actually create a prototype.
