Baby product design incorporating silicone rubber, stretch fabrics, absorbent materials

Need assistance in evaluating potential materials for a product that is worn by infants aged 8 mos to 24 mos. These materials can include but are not limited to: silicone rubber, blended stretch materials with nylon, lycra, spandex, and absorbent materials. Methods of joining dissimilar materials needs to be evaluated. For example: joining silicone rubber to nylon fabric.
Someone with expertise in material selection, fabric selection, silicone rubber molding would be valuable to this project.
